   Teaching Strategies - The parents' pages of this web site include information on what parents need to know about their child's education.   This is an early childhood education site for parents of children from birth through grade three.  The site includes a preschool and kindergarten section with many interesting articles for parents.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has a special section for parents.   It provides resources and information for parents who want to ensure their children receive the best possible care and education.  Early Years Are Learning Years:  Make Them Count!  is an ongoing effort to focus attention on the importance of the early years for children's learning and all aspects of development.  Articles are posted twice a month.

The Nemours Foundation, Kids Health.org is full of information about everything from common infections to serious medical problems, nutrition, safety, growth and development, and much more.  Have a question about your child's physical or emotional health?  Kids Health.org probably has the answers!  A great site for parents.
