We have started a new unit in science. We are studying the ecosystems. We will also be exploring how we classify things and touch upon Kingdoms. The students will be dissecting owl pellets to witness first hand how the food chain works.
Your child will have 2 projects this quarter. One will be an exploratory project (egg drop) and the other will be making an ecosystem. Both of these projects will be completed at home. The other project is on an ecosystem and is due November 10th.
All students need to bring a 3-ring binder, colored pencils or crayons, regular pencil, and a highlighter to class daily. They also need to keep their lab coats at school all year.
