May, 2010!!!! We learned the parts of a plant and can identify them. We continue to visit our school library and learn to be responsible for our books. We learned that bees pollinate flowers. We discovered bees "dance" when communicating. We learned insects have 6 legs. We learned ladybugs start out as grubs. We discovered grubs create a pupa and come out a ladybug. We watched the life cycle of a caterpillar! We documented in our journals the life cycle of the caterpillars. We watched our caterpillars hatch out of their cocoons. We sequenced our Very Hungry Caterpillar story. We let our butterflies go to enjoy the world! |
