June 24 Field Trip - On Wednesday, June 24 the 7100 team will go on a field trip to the IMAX theater at Providence Place Mall. The students will eat lunch in the mall food court. Students with dietary restrictions may pack a lunch. The cost for each student is $15. Lunch money is brought by each student on the day of the trip. We plan to leave school at 8:15 by school bus and return at 2:00. Permission slips and $15 are due June 9. Chaperones are needed.
June 15 Field Trip - On Monday, June 15, 2009 the seventh grade will be going on a field trip to Colt State Park in Bristol, RI for some community and team building fun. Students must pack their own lunch and the teachers will provide dessert. Students with any dietary restrictions should pack their own dessert. We will leave school at 8:15 a.m. and return at approximately 2:15 p.m. Transportation will be by school bus. The cost of the trip for each student is $9.00. Make checks payable to Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District (FLRSD). Permission slips need to be returned by May 11, 2009.
Students going on the trip should be prepared with:
sneakers
activity wear (following FLMS dress code)
sunblock (to be applied at home - Do Not Bring With You)
bugspray (to be applied at home - Do Not Bring With You)
bagged lunch and drink
spending money
Dec. 4 Field Trip - On Thursday, December 4, the 7100 team will go on a field trip to the Zeiterion Theater in New Bedford to see A Christmas Carol. We will stop for a Chinese buffet lunch at the Peking Garden in Dartmouth after the show. Students with dietary restrictions, such as allergies, may need to pack their lunch. We will leave school at 9:00 am and return at 1:40 pm. Transportation will be by school bus. The cost of the trip for each student will be $20.00. Chaperones are needed - parents or legal guardians only. Unfortunately, chaperones will also require $20.00. The money covers the cost of transportation, lunch and theater seat. Make checks payable to Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District.
